Clayton A. Varga, MD, MHSM
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Varga is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Synovation Medical Group, Olios Health, and Synovation Holdings LLC, a vertically integrated, multi-state healthcare organization focused on delivering comprehensive, value-based pain management services. A board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained pain specialist, Dr. Varga earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California, completed his residency in anesthesiology, and pursued advanced fellowship training in pain management at UCLA. He later returned to USC as Director of Pain Management and is a founding member of the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Varga also obtained a master's degree from the department of Health Systems Management at Tulane University.
Matt Talbot
Chief Operating Officer
Matt Talbot is the Chief Operating Officer and has been with the organization since 1996, playing a central role in its long-term growth, operational scaling, and performance optimization across multiple phases of organizational expansion. He oversees all operational functions with a focus on building scalable systems, improving efficiency, and aligning clinical operations with financial outcomes. He is highly experienced in managing risk-based patient populations and balancing quality of care with cost and utilization management. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of La Verne.
Damian Dyer
Chief Information Officer
Damian Dyer is a distinguished Senior IT Executive and pioneer in Agentic AI Orchestration, redefining healthcare delivery through transformational technology. As Chief Information Officer, he aligns HIPAA-compliant enterprise AI and Ambient Clinical Intelligence with complex, multi-state clinical operations. Damian directs technology strategy across 30 clinics and five surgery centers. He successfully replaced legacy infrastructure with a high-availability, modern stack featuring HIPAA-grade Google Gemini, Claude Code, and Cowork for advanced workflow orchestration. By deploying sophisticated Agentic Automation and ambient solutions, Damian eliminates administrative friction, mitigates provider burnout, and transforms digital front-door operations into strategic drivers of enterprise growth.

Chief Financial Officer
Natalie Paluck is a seasoned healthcare finance executive with over 20 years of experience leading financial strategy for multi-state, multi-entity medical groups. As Chief Financial Officer, she oversees financial planning and analysis, treasury, audit, and capital strategy, while partnering closely with revenue cycle and operations to drive performance optimization and improve margins. She has deep expertise in scaling complex healthcare platforms, including oversight of multi-state clinic and ambulatory surgery center networks, implementation of MSO structures, and optimization of payer mix across commercial, Medicare, and high-margin PI and workers' compensation lines.
Fernando Martinez
VP of Revenue Cycle Management
Fernando Martinez is a healthcare executive with over 25 years of experience in revenue cycle management and operations, including more than 15 years in leadership roles. As Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management, he leads end-to-end revenue cycle strategy and execution, with a focus on driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and revenue integrity. He holds an MBA and brings a strong blend of business acumen and hands-on operational expertise. Known for his ability to align people, processes, and technology, Fernando consistently delivers sustainable performance improvements while building high-functioning teams and efficient, growth-oriented ecosystems that support long-term strategic initiatives.
Sandra Schuelke
Credentialing
Sandra Schuelke has 13 years experience in healthcare administration. She has spent the last 8 years overseeing the Contracts and Credentialing department for Synovation Medical Group. Sandra obtained her MS degree in Healthcare Management and her BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management at CSULA. Her outside interests include hiking / walking the Southern California coastline, watching movies, spending time with her daughter, and volunteering her time.
Kira Flores
Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Centers
Kira Flores is the Accreditation & Compliance Manager, overseeing operations across all surgery centers. She began her career with the company as a student, supporting clerical and administrative functions. She later advanced to front desk roles at multiple centers, gaining hands-on experience with day-to-day operations and the broader administrative landscape. Kira earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside. She is committed to ensuring every patient has a safe, comfortable, and positive experience during their visit.
